Elevate IT Solutions

We learn your business first. Then we design your IT.

Elevate is a founder-led IT team based in Bolivar, serving Springfield, Southwest Missouri and the Kansas City metro. Our founder has designed and run IT since 2007, for owner-led shops and publicly traded companies alike. You work with the people who design your systems, and everything we set up stays yours.

No pitch, and no access to your systems needed. Just a conversation about how your business works.

A line drawing of a small office: front desk, two offices, a work area and a closet with network gear, annotated with questions we ask in the first meeting: who holds the admin password, what the owner needs on the road, what happens when email is down, and when a backup was last restored.OfficeOfficeClosetFront deskWork area14 people · 1 site · 11 computers · 1 printerWho holds the adminpassword for this? What does the ownerneed on the road? What happens herewhen email is down? When was a backuplast restored?

Who you'll work with

A small, founder-led team. Our founder has designed and run IT since 2007, from owner-led shops to publicly traded companies.

Everything we set up is written down, and the documentation is yours, so your IT never depends on one person’s memory.

Platforms we work with: Microsoft, Google Cloud and AWS; Meraki and UniFi networks; SentinelOne, Guardz and Ironscales for security and email protection; Axcient and Backblaze for backup; and HP, Dell, Lenovo and ASUS hardware.

Several locations brought onto one IT setup in six months

Work our founder led before Elevate, as Senior IT Manager at a company of nearly 500 people. The company isn't named.

What was there
A company grown by acquisition, with each site still running its own IT: outdated network equipment and servers, failing backups, old wiring, and phone systems that were on-site and failing, or missing. Two junior technicians covered the whole company, and most locations had no IT staff at all.
What was done
A full assessment at several locations across the US and Europe. New network equipment and wireless, new servers with the data migrated, backups set up properly, and re-cabling with local contractors. One central phone system, designed, configured and rolled out to every site. The whole company's email moved into Microsoft 365, a large migration that took careful planning. The European site was run remotely, with a local IT firm doing the installation.
Where it ended up
The whole company working on one IT setup, secured to the same standard and managed from one place. Then our founder hired and trained the team that runs it.

Common complaints about IT, and how we do it differently

Four complaints business owners often have about IT providers, and how we look after our clients instead.

It takes them two days to get back to me on something that should take 30 minutes. The run-around

You reach people who know your business

Your questions go to the people who set up your systems, not to a queue that has to learn them first.

I don't know what we're paying them for.Invisible work

You see the work

Each month you get one page, in plain English, on what we did and what we noticed.

Every change turns into a surprise.Surprises

Nothing happens without a conversation

We explain what's needed and why before we start, and we tell you before we change anything your people will notice.

We asked what they manage for us and got the run-around.Held hostage

It all stays yours

Passwords, accounts, licenses and documentation are kept in your name. You can see all of it, any time you ask.

Is Elevate a fit?

Probably a good fit

  • 10 to 150 people.
  • No IT staff, or one IT person who's stretched thin. We back them up; we don't replace them.
  • Based in Southwest Missouri or the Kansas City metro.
  • You want IT people who take the time to understand how your business works.

Probably not, yet

  • Under about 10 people with no servers. You may not need managed IT yet, and we'll still source and set up your hardware.
  • The lowest price per person matters more than anything else.

Questions owners ask us

Switching sounds painful.

We run the handover, including the awkward conversation with your current provider. You get a written transition plan first, and nothing your people use changes without notice.

We already have an IT person.

Good. We work alongside them: cover for vacations and sick days, a second opinion, and help with projects and security work they don't have time for. We're not there to replace anyone.

What if you're unavailable?

You're never relying on one person's memory. We're a small team, everything is documented, and the documentation and admin access belong to you.

You're remote. What if something needs hands on it?

Most IT work is done remotely today, and it's faster that way. When something physical is needed, we come on-site within about 90 minutes of Bolivar, and to the Kansas City metro by appointment (placeholder). New hardware arrives configured and ready to use.

How do we know you'll keep us secure?

We start with the basics that stop most real incidents: MFA on every account, patching, tested backups and email protection. Then we show you it's done, in your monthly report. We don't do scare tactics.

Start with a 30-minute call

What happens after you book:

  1. Pick a time. You get a confirmation with three questions to think about beforehand.

  2. We talk for 30 minutes about how your business runs and what isn't working.

  3. Afterwards you get a one-page written summary of what we heard and what we'd look at first. It's yours either way.

  4. If it makes sense, we offer the IT Blueprint: a full walk-through of your systems and a written plan. If not, we say so, and we won't chase you.
